Tool Wrap — A Rugged & Classy Home for Your Edgers
There’s something satisfying about having your tools laid out in a way that’s both practical and beautiful. This Tool Wrap was born out of that exact need — a clean, rugged, and classy way to keep leather edge bevellers organized and ready to work.
Originally designed to fit Kemovan edgers, the slots are perfectly sized to hold most brands of bevellers as well. Whether you’re hanging it up on the wall for quick access or folding it back to lay flat on your workbench, this wrap adds a touch of craftsmanship to your space before you even start cutting leather.
Recommended Leather
I used 5–6oz regular temper leather for this project. The slightly thicker weight gives it a substantial feel, offering enough structure to hold the tools securely without being too stiff to roll or fold. If you prefer a more rugged or more flexible wrap, you can easily adjust the leather thickness or temper to suit your workflow.
Design Insight
This wrap came together in my own workshop after realizing my bevellers were constantly rolling around or buried under other tools. I wanted something practical that still looked sharp — something that would age beautifully over time and match the quality of the tools it protects.
