Ruffneck Duffel — Rugged Character with Timeless Style

The Ruffneck Duffel is a larger, statement-making bag designed with simplicity and character in mind. It features a classic roll-top design, secured with leather straps and buckles — no zippers, no fabric, and no mechanical failure points. Just leather and hardware built to last a lifetime.

For the version in the photos, I used a 5–6oz Horween Football leather, which gives it a bold, distinctive texture and appearance. However, any 5–6oz leather will work beautifully for this project, ensuring long-term durability and a patina that only gets better with age. I intentionally added irregular stitch lines for a rugged, lived-in aesthetic that sets this duffel apart.
