The Admiral Wallets is a modular BYOB – Build Your Own Bifold – digital PDF pattern to create many different classic style bifold wallets by combining a few basic pattern elements in various ways. Those combinations are called “recipes” and there are 26 recipes included with even more possible. The Rear Admiral Wallets are the narrow version perfect for USD banknotes, while the Grand Admiral Wallets have an additional card pocket on each side and make for a taller wallet that holds banknotes wider that USD.
The step-by-step instructions with pictures are included for the 7-pockets Rear Admiral recipe and will showcase how trim allowance in the pattern is used. The rest of the recipes follow the same logic and include recipe specific notes where needed in the Assembly Instructions PDF file. Have fun making The Admiral Wallets!

The Rear Admirals (narrow version for USD banknotes)
> Dimensions horizontal recipes: 11.5/8cm (~4.5/3.2 inches)
> Dimensions vertical recipes: 10.3/9cm (~4/3.5 inches)
The Grand Admirals (tall version for wider banknotes such as EUR)
> Dimensions: 11.5/9.2cm (~4.5/3.6 inches)
Skill level: Advanced (skiving of the T-Slots is required)
Leather:
> 1.0-1.2mm thickness (2.5-3 oz) for the interior parts
> 1.4-1.6mm thickness (3.5-4oz) for the exterior
Basic Instructions
> Print pattern at 100% scale and verify size using the Print Accuracy Test. Measure and cut on the outside edge of the lines. Please read through the Assembly Instructions PDF before commencing with the build.
Note: Stitching holes in the patterns are spaced at 3.85mm.
